"Diversity Days": Evening Event on Equal Treatment and Discrimination Protection at Universities

The evening event focusses on "Equal Treatment and Discrimination Protection at Universities - Tension Between Legal Framework Conditions and Reality".

  • From the series "University in Transition. Perspectives on Gender and Diversity"

After an introduction to the topic participants will hear input from state politics and antidiscrimination work. The respective reference points on discrimination protection in a university context will be laid out and suggestions will be provided for one's own field of work. The objective is to sound out the requirements of the legal framework conditions – General Equal Treatment Act, AGG, and state laws –, to identify possible holes in discrimination protection, and derive courses of action for practice.
