The staff unit is directly responsible to the rector’s office and cooperates closely with it. In addition the Integration Team cooperates with central facilities of the university administration as well as with faculties. The team is therefore in close contact with the

• equal opportunities officer,
• Student Disability Liaison Officer,
• Student representative of students with disabilities.,
• personnel board for scientific, medical and artistic employees
• personnel board for non-scientific employees,
• project for equality of treatment (organised by students' union executive committee of RWTH Aachen University)
• and project for gay students at universities in Aachen.

and scientists who integrate gender aspects into their field of research:

• Department of Sociology with special focus on Gender Studies,
• Institute of History of Early Modern Period ,
• Institute History, Theory and Ethics of Medicine,
• Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
• Chair for Anglistic Linguistics
• and Zentrum für Psychische Gesundheit (ZPG).

The Integration Team is also supported by an internal Steering Commitee.
