New project
RWTH Aachen University just launched the new programme ”coaching for female professors“. This special offer represents a pilot project which is coordinated by the human resource department in cooperation with the Integration Team. The main objective is to support women in leadership positions at RWTH Aachen University the best possible. Thus female professors have now the opportunity to use these coaching and to work on questions regarding leadership style, management and problem solving skills. Human Resources Development
RWTH Aachen wants to attract, promote and retain diverse talents on different academic career levels. Especially the promotion of young talented scientists will be of great importance for RWTH Aachen. The objective is to recruit people from diverse backgrounds, to promote them within the system and to create a strong bond between university and individual.
The Integration Team is involved in the following Human Resources Development Programmes:- UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme), scholarships for students
- Mentoring Programmes for high qualified candidates at different academic career levels
- Starter Kits for newly appointed professors as well as for new employees in executive positions at the university
- Development of the pilot project "Coaching for female professors" (in cooperation with Department 8.0)
- Foundation of a network centre for junior scientists (in cooperation with Department 8.0)
