This information event will focus on the participation of academics* with mental disabilities. Thomas Künneke from the Interessenvertretung Selbstbestimmt Leben in Deutschland e.V. (ISL e.V.) will give a guest lecture entitled "What are the prospects and instruments of integration for people with mental disabilities?". The background is the increasing importance of inclusion in Germany, which is driven by the signing of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD).
After the lecture, participants* will have the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and network.
