RWTH Aachen Receives TOTAL E-QUALITY Award
RWTH Aachen University has once again been awarded the "TOTAL E-QUALITY" award for equal opportunities and the additional rating for diversity. The award is granted by the TOTAL E-QUALITY association for three years and recognises organizations from business, science and administration as well as associations that successfully implement equal opportunities in their personnel and organisational policies.
RWTH's concepts for personnel development, equal opportunities and diversity management successfully demonstrated significant progress for the sixth follow-up application for the award, which contributed to the renewed award in 2020.
Since 2017, the association has also awarded the additional rating for diversity, which the University has now received for the second time. Diversity is defined as a cross-cutting issue at RWTH Aachen University and is a perceived management task - both in research and teaching as well as in science management and administration.
Even though the personal award ceremony in Erfurt had to be cancelled this year due to the pandemic, the Equal Opportunities Officer, Dr. Ulrike Brands-Proharam Gonzalez, the Prorector, Prof. Dr. Doris Klee and the Head of the Integration Team Human Resources Gender & Diversity Management (IGaD), Ralitsa Petrova-Stoyanov, are pleased to receive the certificate.
