The Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency extends its counselling services
The Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency now extends its counselling services in cases of discrimination to parents and carers.
The jurisdiction of the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency has been extended. Employed parents and caring relatives can now also contact the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency if they believe they have been discriminated against because they have taken parental leave, care leave or family care leave or the right to be absent from work in an acute case of care under section 2 of the Care Leave Act. The same applies if employees are absent from work for urgent family reasons, such as an accident, and believe that they have been discriminated against because of this.
