Vita

Ralitsa Petrova-Stoyanov studied social work and social pedagogy at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE). She received her PhD in 2021 from Prof. Dr. Ute Klammer (UDE) on the topic The balancing act between organizational structures and individual power to act. Gender-Equality(policy) within the framework of the university organization from the perspective of experts and professors.

Ralitsa Petrova-Stoyanov worked as a researcher in the fields of social work and social policy as well as sociology at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2010 to 2018. She also worked for five years in the UDE's Prorectorate for Diversity Management, where she was responsible, among other things, for the university's diversity portal and for various projects and events in the field of gender and diversity. From January to August 2019, she worked as a preventive social policy officer at the Forschungsinstitut für gesellschaftliche Weiterentwicklung e.V. (Düsseldorf).

In September 2019, Ralitsa Petrova-Stoyanov took over as head of the Rectorate Staff Unit IGaD (Integration Team - Human Resources, Gender and Diversity Management) at RWTH Aachen University.
