SPEAR Project meets CESAER Network

On September 4, 2020 the partners of the University of Southern Denmark and RWTH Aachen University from the SPEAR project had the opportunity to present their work in the CESAER network.

The 1.5 hour workshop focused on the implementation of equality plans at European universities. Eva Sophia Myers and Liv Baisner, coordinators of the project from the University of Southern Denmark, focused especially on the influence of Communities of Learning and Communities of Practice on successful implementation. Christine Steffens, staff member of the IGaD and project collaborator in SPEAR, and Ralitsa Petrova-Stoyanov, head of the IGaD, gave helpful tips on the importance and implementation of data monitoring in a gender equality context in a group work. In addition, the virtual learning materials developed in the project were presented, which serve to support the implementation process and are freely accessible to the public. Further information, including on the learning materials, can be found at www.gender-spear.eu.
