The second class of the Aachen – Tsinghua Entrepreneurship Program started in May 2016. The first of two modules this year took place at Tsinghua University in Beijing with 40 students of both partner universities. The program was again organized jointly by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group (WIN) in cooperation with RWTH International Office,  Aachen Transfer- and Gründerzentrum and Tsinghua School of Economics and Management.

The program included company visits in different sectors, seminars on cultural differences and on doing business in China.

The group visited the Tsinghua University start-up incubator X-elerator and gained insight into the Chinese “Silicon Valley” (Zhongguancun), met with current teams in their seed phase and learned about entrepreneurship at Tsinghua University. Sightseeing and close contact to the Chinese students allowed the Aachen students to learn about Chinese culture and history first hand.

We are looking forward to the second part of the program taking place in September 2016 in Aachen. The program will consist of an exciting mixture of seminars on entrepreneurship, company visits and intercultural exchange.
